Swiss-American songwriter Stephan Leuenberger was born in Amsterdam, New York on July 27, 1984. During his childhood in the Republic of Zaire, Stephan's musical roots began to develop with the sounds of George Michael, Michel Sardou, Elton John, Phil Collins and the Pet Shop Boys. At the age of seven, he and his family fled the troubled African region, settling on the United States as their new home in 1991.

His exposure to American, pop radio led him to discover artists like Ace of Base, Real McCoy, Fun Factory, and the Vengaboys. These groups, however, shared a common thread - they were Euro-Pop of the '90s. They were sort of a continuation of what Stephan had heard during the '80s, most notably a modernization of his biggest childhood influence, French-Pop singer Dorothée.

Just before his college studies, Stephan realized his true, life passion; music. It has since been a goal to create songs that could inspire people in the same way that music inspired him throughout his lifetime.

Stephan began his music career in 2004 when he was signed to the independent label "Caliber Records" out of Orlando, Florida. He has since gone on to write and record over 40 songs on his own and is eager to find a producer who could take his songs to the next level.
