| Cinder has been together for close to 10 years now in one form or another. In 2001 they signed a deal with Geffen Records and a CD ("Break Your Silence")was recorded but never released. A single, that charted strong, was fortunately released titled "Soul Creation", which kept many doors open for the band. Two short years later the band was released from thier contract. Two more years and a member change later, the band is finally releasing thier first CD, "House Full of No Trust". The band started with Roger Young and Kenny Craig playing around the Ft. Myers area and writing songs for a CD that would be titled "Soapy Tuna". Later that name would be changed to Jesus Gun, and another CD would be recorded but only sold at shows. When signed to Geffen, they strongly suggested changing the name to Cinder, for business reasons. A strong following was built thru touring with Creed and Sevendust, so the name stuck! Two CD's later, we are writing for our third and planning to enter the studio in the next couple months. Stay tuned.... | |
